That’s how long our weekend trip lasted.
DH and I were invited to SCEagle‘s reenlistment ceremony at one of the most meaningful and beautiful places I can think of.
12 hours driving, 6 hours sleeping, 19 hours…unforgettable (and priceless).
“We do not remember days, we remember moments”
For the most part I think this quote is true, for myself anyway.
It’s hard to go back and reconstruct a day, moment by moment. What we
remember are the highlights of any particular day. Any “average” day.
However, there are some days…that stand out…that stay in memory moment
by moment. Our trip to DC this past weekend will be one of those.
Rather than give you a minute by minute accounting I think some
photographs and a little word association will serve the purpose.

It was an honor to be present and to represent Soldiers’ Angels. And… I wish I had a representative like Senator DeMint.
